• Ohio EPA is submitting source-specific VOC RACT for Alterra Energy LLC (Facility ID 1677011258) to U.S. EPA for the Ohio SIP (2015 ozone NAAQS): an enclosed vapor combustion unit with not less than 98% VOC control by weight. RACT applicability under OAC 3745-21-11(B) means VOC potential to emit of at least 50 but under 100 tons/yr, against 34.7 tons VOC allowed in the 2025 draft renewal PTIO (reported by Signal Akron, not re-verified).
• First published 2026-08-17 (comments to 09-18); extended by notice dated 2026-08-30 (Weekly Review 2026-09-06) to 2026-09-30 with a public hearing 2026-09-30 at Akron-Summit County Public Library, Room 2AB, 60 S.
